Exceptional Drainage Capacity
The 6-inch weep hole filter geocomposite wick system provides superior water flow, effectively relieving hydrostatic pressure in larger structures such as concrete seawalls, steel sheet piling, and bridge abutments.
Robust and Reliable Construction
Built for demanding applications, the open-end model features high-grade materials to ensure durability and performance over extended periods.
Versatile and Low-Maintenance Design
Ideal for large-scale applications, the maintainable design simplifies cleaning, enhancing system efficiency and protecting structures from water damage.
Fixing and Fasteners
Within the unit price of the 6″ JET Filter we provide the BTS Hex head 316 Stainless Ceramic Coated Masonry screws.
The BTS screws are 316 Stainless steel and whilst considered a masonry/concrete screw are tried and tested over many years and are suitable for steel sheet piling. The ceramic coating on these screws reduces the chance of dielectric corrosion.
Note pilot holes will need to be drilled and these BTS fitting tightened by hand. If site plan to use an impact driver, then if care is not taken, you will strip the threads. Not all sites have issues but some have.
Hex screws have been selected to enable the installer to apply more torque to the screw.
For those sites which cannot hand tighten or use an impact driver without stripping the thread or snapping the Hex head. We can supply (at additional cost) SuperTek Marine 8 Fasteners, which still require a pilot hole, but appear to have a higher strength and drilling capacity in steel.
Key Features
Maximum Flow Capacity
The 6-inch weep hole filter ensures unparalleled drainage capacity for large-scale infrastructure and extreme weather conditions, draining up to 61 gallons per minute.
Marine-Grade Durability
Constructed with high-grade stainless steel for long-term performance in saltwater and other corrosive environments.
Customizable Fit
Suitable for large retaining walls, flood systems, and industrial sites requiring scalable drainage solutions.
Longevity and Reliability
Designed for minimal wear and tear even in the harshest applications, reducing total cost of ownership.
The geotextile filter weave is from TenCate and is Mirafi® FW300. Mirafi® FW300 geotextile composed of polypropylene yarns, which are woven into a stable network such that the yarns retain their relative position. Mirafi® FW300 geotextile is inert to biological degradation and resists naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids.
The material used for the filter cartridge cage is durable ABS, making it resistant to environmental wear, corrosion, and harsh conditions, including saltwater exposure.
